Our Mission
Our mission is to create a caring and supportive environment for our students at OPC. We want to provide a great experience for everyone during their time with us. We focus on doing our best to meet the needs of our students and make them feel valued.
External Accreditation and Memberships
Accreditations and memberships do not give you the whole picture, but they do tell you that a school is focused on quality control and best practice and is regularly inspected by professional organisations.
Internal Quality Control and Best Practice
At OPC, we are very much focused on best practices. We care about providing a great experience for you. We encourage our staff to think about how they can improve and find new ways to help you. Here are some of the ways we work to make things better for you:
- Weekly manager meetings with a focus on best practices. We aim to review all aspects of the school often from the social programme, accommodation, student facilities, and student feedback processes.
- Weekly teachers’ meetings. At teacher meetings, we aim to work cooperatively with our teachers to make any improvements we need and welcome their feedback.
- Regular tutorials with all students. These tutorials discuss progress, course feedback, aims and goals, welfare and accommodation.
- We record and review feedback from students and act upon this. We use this to outline areas to improve.
